Linda Erdmann (Tallahassee, Florida), President of DSI, LLC, manages the Training and Exercise Development and Logistics and the Continuity of Operations Plan (COOP) process for DSI.  Erdmann has spearheaded the completion of over 240 COOP plans, all receiving approval from the State of Florida and Department of Homeland Security.  Ms. Erdmann provided technical assistance in the development of EmPlans.com, taking the COOP process paper-less into a Web-based “living plan”.  Erdmann’s other planning experience includes the writing and development of Terrorism Annexes for counties in Florida.  In addition to planning, Ms. Erdmann has extensive training and exercise experience.  In 2004, Erdmann participated on the team that conducted the Governors Executive Level Table Top Exercise, served as an instructor for numerous local and state government trainings and has been a facilitator for Table Top Exercises.  With DSI serving as the prime contractor for the 2005 Governors Executive Level Table Top Exercise, Erdmann served as an Administrator to ensure that all logistics were handled to execute the exercise.  Ms. Erdmann is proficient in FEMA Technical Assistance, facility relocation, debris management, the recovery process and contract implementation.  Erdmann plays a key role in soliciting companies by providing Strategies and Ideas to form Business Alliances and relationships.  Prior to Erdmann’s joining DSI, she served as the Assistant to the Director of the Division of Emergency Management, Florida Department of Community Affairs.  Ms. Erdmann held this position for several years, working closely with senior government officials, revising and implementing various policy initiatives relating to FEMA eligibility and reimbursement.  Erdmann has been involved in numerous disasters, including; Hurricanes Charley, Frances, Jeanne, Ivan, Georges, Floyd, Lili, Isodore and the Florida Fires.  Ms. Erdmann was intimately involved in the first Florida Needs Assessment, the first Federal/State Drought meetings and many other State/Federal hosted issues.  Before returning to the State of Florida, Erdmann served as the Senior Coordinator for the County Commissioner of Harris County, Houston, Texas.
